Original Motif Cabinet Rules and Mathematics

This page concerns our independent Cash Blox query guide and its own original free virtual-coin Motif Cabinet simulator. No business identity or official service associated with the query has been independently established here.

Twelve Fair Directions and Ten Overlapping Windows

One complete hidden path of twelve independent equally likely left or right directions is selected when a round starts. All 4096 paths have equal probability. Read the ten consecutive windows of length three, starting at positions one through ten. Windows overlap: the first uses directions one to three and the second directions two to four. No directions are skipped.

Count Different Three-Direction Values, Then Subtract One

Raw terminal score is the number of DISTINCT three-direction words among the ten windows minus one. The eight possible values are LLL, LLR, LRL, LRR, RLL, RLR, RRL and RRR. Repeated appearances of a value count once, not once per position. Raw score is between zero and seven. This is neither final endpoint displacement nor counting left/right totals.

Repeated Windows and Animation

LLLLLLLLLLLL contains only LLL, so its score is zero. LRLRLRLRLRLR contains LRL and RLR, so score one. The cabinet marks only length-three windows already revealed during the animation; it does not disclose future directions. The terminal score concerns all twelve directions after the ball finishes. Timing a click cannot redraw the sampled path.

Exact Means for Three Powers

Select power one, two or three before starting. Gross multiplier is 0.96 times raw score raised to that power divided by that power’s exact unconditional mean. Those means are 5.044921875, 26.6904296875 and 146.642578125 respectively. Zero stays zero. Each mode has 96% exact unrounded expected gross credit of captured stake, not winning frequency or a session promise. Positive score can still return less than stake.

The Complete Score Distribution

Among all 4096 equally likely paths the counts are score zero:2; one:6; two:20; three:384; four:790; five:1356; six:1240; seven:298. Only the two constant-direction paths give zero. Raw score seven means all eight possible three-direction values appeared somewhere among the ten overlapping windows. Each power must use its own exact mean.

One Captured Stake and One Active Ball

Choose a whole stake of ten, twenty, fifty or one hundred virtual coins and a power before starting. One complete captured stake is debited once. One ball is active at a time, with stake and power controls locked during animation. There is no Auto queue, Stop, mid-round collection or cashout. The ball completes the sampled path and settles terminal reward. Reduced motion changes duration rather than probabilities.

Saved Wallet and Optional Refill

The wallet starts with 1000 free virtual coins. Settled wallet and fractional-credit carry persist in browser localStorage. Only while idle below ten coins can manual refill set balance to 1000 preserving carry; it does not add 1000. Saved debited wallet and carry survive reload, but an unfinished round is not recovered or refunded. Keep an active round open until settlement. No account synchronizes devices or restores removed values.

Frequently asked questions

What is raw score?

Count different three-direction values in the ten overlapping windows, then subtract one.

Do repeated windows add points?

No. Identical three-direction values count once regardless of position.

What are the exact power means?

5.044921875, 26.6904296875 and 146.642578125 for raw score, score squared and score cubed.

Does 96% guarantee a result?

No. It is exact unrounded expected gross credit, not winning frequency or a session promise.

Can I stop or collect early?

No. There is one active ball, no Auto, Stop or mid-round collection.
